About Me

Who am I, and how I can help?

Richa Puri Independent Prescriber and Registered Nutritional Therapist at desk and computer

As a highly trained and experienced registered independent prescribing pharmacist and nutritional therapist, I bring to my work 18 years of clinical experience in understanding why people’s fertility and hormonal health go sideways. The result of my exploration of their health and the changes we put in place together are beautifully life-changing, and the process is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident that you are doing everything possible to optimise your fertility and prepare for a healthy pregnancy as well as optimise your hormone health.

As a community pharmacist I quickly became disillusioned with the model allopathic pharmacy and medicine had to offer, the typical ‘a pill for every ill’ approach. I would be dispensing carrier bags full of medication to my patients with no other options given. Later when I started my nutritional therapy training, I realised most chronic disease is diet and lifestyle related and a lot of it can be reversed.

I continuously expand my knowledge in functional medicine through advanced training and ongoing personal development to present the best science-backed guidance to my clients, ensuring they have the highest level of customer service and my incisive fertility-detective mind at their disposal. Acknowledging that for many people with health problems, time – and time passing – is a huge factor, I work with my clients to ensure they are part of an effectively paced and results-focused process.
